With more than fifty (50) years of professional practices and experience, he had been in charge of very important projects in the Island of Puerto Rico. Has a vast experience in design, management, and construction of differents types of projects, with a great performance in his work, had accomplished excellent result in projects like the structural design of the Coliseum of Puerto Rico, Roberto Clemente, the development of Park Garden Public Residential, engineering consultant for the Dr. Pila Hospital in Ponce, Puerto Rico and hundreds of more projects in Puerto Rico, make him a top engineer in the island, capable of accomplishing any task to be assigned.

MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

Besides the design and supervision of construction projects, Eng. Vázquez have an impressive experience in the management of projects. He has the General Manager of the “ Puesta al Día” of P.R Public Schools. He lead a team of fourteen (14) firms of A.E to cover and evaluated all physical deficiencies of approximately

1,200 schools in the different regions around the island.

A crash program was established to repair the most important items with a limited budget of two hundred millions dollars. The whole projects were developed in one-half with the participation of more than one hundred local contractors in 140 rehabilitations contracts. All the process was done by Public Bidding with a sharp

and efficient time schedule.

​

He participated as consultant manager of the rehabilitation of all the Correction Facilities in Puerto Rico.

He also was the leader and principal in charge of the Management & Inspection Team for the Water Projects of the Northwest Region of AAA in direct contract with the P.R Financing Authority.

He was the manager of the design of the drawings for the modernization of Jose Gautier Benitez Public Residential
